Passionate about transforming personal wellness, Judy merges advanced technologies with a functional health approach to help others elevate their quality of life. She believes that true well-being starts with the fundamentals, empowering clients to go beyond their perceived limits and achieve lasting vitality.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Judy has finally found her way to the sea—embracing the beauty of coastal living while continuing her mission to make wellness both accessible and extraordinary. For her, life is invaluable and always worth the effort!

meet Dr. Vasquez
Dr. Arthur Vasquez is the Medical Director for the Basics & Beyond Wellness team.
Dr. Vasquez brings more than 30 years of compassionate expertise as a Family Physician, paired with a deep passion and referral practice in Primary Care Skin Services. He holds a Professional Diploma in General Skin Disorders, and is certified by the Canadian Board of Aesthetics Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where he mentors medical students and residents. His expertise is further demonstrated through his leadership at o41 Skin Lab in Vancouver, a clinic for advanced skin care.
As Medical Director, Dr. Vasquez is delighted to support Basics & Beyond Wellness in delivering exceptional care while expanding his services to the Oceanside area. He looks forward to contributing to our vibrant community and elevating the aesthetic and skin treatments offered at Basics & Beyond.

With over 15 years of experience in medicine, surgery, and aesthetics, Kathleen's dedication to continuous education and mastering the latest techniques sets her apart in the field of aesthetic nursing. Passionate about enhancing natural beauty, she believes that overall health is the foundation of a radiant, healthy glow.
Kathleen’s warm and welcoming approach makes every client feel at home, ensuring personalized care and lasting relationships. Born and raised in the Oceanside area, she specializes in Microdermabrasion, RF Microneedling, IV Therapy, Botox & Fillers, and Chemical Peels—helping clients look and feel their best with expert, results-driven treatments.

Meet Lorna (Gail) Dawson, NP (F)
Gail brings an integrative, patient-centered approach to care, combining advanced clinical training with functional medicine to support both physical and mental well-being. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia and holds dual certification in the United States as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Gail completed her training at the University of Wyoming and the University of Northern Colorado, and has pursued advanced education through the Kalish Institute, the Institute for Functional Medicine, WorldLink Medical, and A4M. She has been prescribing bio-identical hormones for over 14 years and also provides peer support within Dr. Greenblatt’s Psychiatry Redefined program.
Outside of clinical work, Gail enjoys time in the garden growing food and flowers, kayaking, and spending time with friends, family, and Bentley—her energetic Australian Shepherd.

Delaney Chamberlain, NP (F)
Delaney brings over eight years of diverse nursing experience in medical-surgical care, the emergency department, and post-anesthetic recovery.
She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Victoria and now practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care in Port Alberni. She is passionate about blending the art and science of aesthetic medicine with medically supported weight loss to help individuals improve both their health and confidence.

Tonya Godin, RT/RP-CRA
Tonya brings heart centered holistic care to Basics and Beyond Wellness. Offering over 30 years of healing experience, with 15 of them as a Reiki Practitioner, Teacher & Birth Doula.
Tonya is a past career nurse (former RN/RPN), having specialized in Emergency Mental Health, Crisis response and Education for First Responders. Her past body of work also extends into the area of Taekwondo instruction, meditation, and Traditional Hawaiian Massage.
Tonya has been a member of the Canadian Reiki Association since 2009 and is an affiliate member of the International Center for Reiki Training.

Megan Geisler, CE
Megan is a certified esthetician with over a decade of experience in the wellness industry. A graduate of Vancouver Island University, she brings extensive knowledge in treating a wide range of skin concerns, with a strong focus on health and safety.
Passionate about holistic wellness, Megan creates a welcoming, safe space where clients can relax, restore, and feel confident in their care.
